    With news of the emerging detections of high pathogenicity avian influenza (HPAI) in Australia, we want to keep you informed on the situation in New Zealand.

    If you notice more than 3 living but sick birds, or 3 or more groups of dead birds, don’t touch the birds and please contact the Ministry of Primary Industries hotline 0800 80 99 66 immediately.

  • Spades and other planting equipment ready for use

    Celebrate Matariki with restoration, reflection and connection. There will be 1800 plants for planting, tools available for picking up litter, the chance to connect with community organisations, and a free barbecue for those putting in the hard mahi.

    This site is a 5 minute walk from Onehunga Bay carpark and is relatively sheltered and child friendly.

Get help to set up a trap in your backyard or local area. No experience needed! A koha for the trap is optional.

Look after a trapline

Spend two hours a month maintaining a line of traps in a local reserve. No experience needed - training and equipment provided.
